Steinhilber Swanson is pleased and proud to announce that one of its senior partners, Kathleen E. Grant of Madison, has been selected to serve as a full-time Administrative Law Judge with the Office of Workers Compensation Hearings in the Division of Hearings and Appeals of the Department of Administration for the State of Wisconsin. Kathleen will serve as an ALJ-Mediator on large contested workers compensation cases. This appointment comes in recognition of the extensive experience Kathleen brings to workers compensation cases, having litigated them for more than 40 years, and specifically in mediation of such cases. Before taking this full-time position, Kathleen was employed by the Division of Hearings and Appeals as a limited term employee, mediating worker’s compensation cases. Kathleen will remain with Steinhilber Swanson in of counsel capacity, collaborating with other lawyers in the firm on litigation matters.
We wish Kathleen all the best and great success in her new role as Administrative Law Judge, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with her on litigation matters at the firm.
